Spending a virtual night out in a wine bar

The closures of restaurants and bars pose a great challenge to businesses and people alike. On the one hand, the venues and their suppliers are temporarily out of business and can’t serve their existing customer base. On the other hand, people are missing out the evenings spent with friends and family.

To tackle this challenge and at least provide people with the possibility to spend time together, a local wine bar (Buschenschank) invited its customers to join a Zoom session. This virtual night out is set up and moderated by the owners of the wine bar. 50 people from three continents joined the first gathering.
