    Study support for school children at home

    Not all parents are able to support their children with school work as well as others. The current Covid-19 outbreak threatens to increase existing inequalities in education, as education depends on the parents more than it usually does.

    In the Italian town of Varese, a small volunteer organisation offers online study support for children attending primary school, middle school and the first years of high school. A lot of families are also struggling financially. Therefore, only those who can afford it are asked to make a small monetary contribution.

    Helping companies to survive

    An online platform supports businesses and entrepreneurs in operating in an uncertain environment.

    Freshly cooked meals for hospital workers

    To show solidarity to medical staff during the crisis, a group of volunteers mobilized to bring prepared meals to hospital workers.
